Arif was born in Bangladesh, raised in India and intellectually grew in Canada. Thus, he claims to be a fusion mixture of the east and the west, at home everywhere, out of place no where. Arif has an undergraduate degree in International Relations and Development Studies and did post-graduate work in Political Science (University of Windsor).
Before joining QMUNITY Arif was volunteering in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Arif strongly believes that people are people because of other people. This best speaks to common humanity, and also to our responsibility as human beings to each other. Arif believes in the crucial importance of relationships, of the human interactions and particularly of the reality that not only our human issues are interconnected but that our life cannot evolve outside of each other. The only odd thing about Arif is that he hates butter chicken (Canada’s national East Indian food) and loves curried spinach.
