Prism

Prism offers free counselling for lesbian, gay, bisexual, Two Spirit and queer people, and for trans people of all sexual orientations, who are affected by drug and/or alcohol issues, and live in Vancouver.  Counsellors work with people on their own goals, such as to reduce the harms from substance use, to moderate use, or to quit using altogether. Counselling staff generally have Masters’ degrees in counselling or in social work, and identify as lesbian, gay, bi or queer, or as straight allies. Counsellors have experience working with youth, adults, and older adults.
