Pansexual & Panromantic Visibility Day

Celebrated annually on May 24th.

May 24th encourages us to recognize the importance of pansexual and panromantic people in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

Identifying as pansexual and panromantic can mean different things for different people who claim the label, but typically refers to a person who is sexually and/or romantically attracted to people without recognizing gender as an important factor. Pansexual and panromantic identities are different from bisexual, omniromantic and polysexual identities.

People have been identifying with pansexual and panromantic identities since the 1920s. While it has bi in the name, BiFocus Vancouver is a peer group created for anybody who experiences attraction to more than one gender, including panromantic and pansexual people.

Happy pansexual and panromantic visibility day!
