Thanks to you.
A small token of appreciation, from our team to you.
We want to take a moment to do something simple: say thank you. There’s no ask here, just a chance to show you what your support makes possible and how grateful we are to have you as part of our QMUNITY.
Look what you made possible.
These are not easy times, and celebrating anything feels almost counterintuitive to what the moment is asking for. But all of us at QMUNITY have been struck by just how fortunate we are to have a passionate community of donors, volunteers, and supporters who believe in our work. In a time where government funding for social services is getting cut, and grants are increasingly more competitive, we are able to keep doing our work thanks to you.
Thanks to you, this year we:
Distributed $38,000 dollars directly to trans women, trans femmes, and Two-Spirit folks accessing gender-affirming hair removal
Provided free and low-barrier legal services to approximately 275 queer, trans, and Two-Spirit people across BC through our legal clinic
Visited 7 rural communities to deliver Trans ID workshops
Provided 97 x $100 grocery store gift cards to 2SLGBTQIA+ seniors facing food insecurity
Served 602 meals through our lunch program to seniors
Sent out 383 free gender-affirming garments to youth
Provided free counselling services to 91 people and matched 345 community members to low-cost counselling partners
These numbers represent just a small fraction of the work QMUNITY does, of what our donors make possible.
Let’s Get Together
