The Crisis Centre has partnered with QMUNITY (BC’s Queer, Trans, and Two-Spirit Resource Centre) to host a Village safeTALK with the generous support of XY nightclub.
safeTALK is a half-day training session, developed by Living Works education, that teaches participants how to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to resources that can help keep them safe. This workshop is a safe and supportive space for members of the LGBTQ2+ community and their allies to come together and learn skills to help prevent suicide.
