"I've been working on a series called 'this magnetic grief,' where I use random magnetic poetry magnets (from various series, e.g., 'romance,' 'sex') to process the ending of a deep, longterm queer relationship. The poems look like disjointed experiments in longing, sadness, hope, smut in their content, and photographs of the magnets assembled by candelight on a wooden table, in their presentation."

Olivia Ingram (they/them) is a working-class, text-focused artist living in so-called East Vancouver. Their art currently engages with desire, grief, and the sparks and ruptures in between.
